Local data disk

The system and data disks of an instance are typically local SSDs,while a small number are cloud disks. Local data disks offer good performance but have no redundant copies; due to the inherent lifespan of local disks, there is a probability of failure. Please regularly back up important data to File Storage or locally. WebCal does not provide any reliability guarantees or services for such local storage products.

By default, when you rent an instance, the host provides a free 50 GB data disk. If you need to expand the data disk, please select a host with expandable capacity when renting:

For pay-as-you-go instances, billing is based on the highest capacity used that day (if scaled down) at midnight, regardless of whether the instance was shut down that day, until the instance is released or all paid data disks are scaled down to 0 GB.The price is approximately 0.0066 yuan/day/GB (member price); the price displayed on the website shall prevail.
For annual and monthly subscription instances, the fees are calculated based on the selected data disk size at the time of rental. You can view the specific amount charged for the data disk in the billing details at the bottom of the rental page.If an annual or monthly subscription instance still has paid data disks after its term expires, those data disks will be billed according to the same rules as pay-as-you-go instances—regardless of whether the instance is powered off—until the instance is terminated or all paid data disks are reduced to 0 GB.
